Iceland is blessed with a culinary heritage founded on a valuable tradition of innovation that has been passed down for generations. On an island that has harsh nature and less daylight during winter than a nightclub in Berlin, the Icelanders have been resilient and came up with all kinds of weird things to put food on the table. With today's modern technology the island is able to produce foods of the highest quality and pureness matched by few. This fun project, which felt more like a road trip through the scenic island was commissioned by the Icelandic Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture and shot over two months in various places in Iceland.
